ABOUT ME

I'm a self-taught artist living in Silver Spring, Maryland, in the Washington, DC metro area. I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and even though I haven't lived there in a long time, my heart and most of my family are still in NC.

In 1999, when I was fresh out of grad school and flat broke, the only thing I could afford to give my family for Christmas was my creativity. My mom gave me enough money to get some blank ornaments, and I created one-of-a-kind ornaments for the family. I've been painting ornaments ever since!

All of my ornaments are frosted or clear glass and painted with oil-based paint. I sign and date each of them.
